En resumen, una nueva forma de oscurantismo, frente a la luz de la ciencia... Este ambiente, a juicio del autor, está ahogando la posibilidad de un estudio sereno y desapasionado – es posible, o ¿tan sólo es una ilusión, un deseo?- del concepto de diseño como un posible elemento válido para la interpretación del hecho evolutivo. Libros como Nature’s Destiny de Michael Denton o Nature, Design & Science  de Del Ratzsch o No Free Lunch de Dembski o Darwin’s Black Box de Behe, por sólo citar algunos, merecen una respuesta que vaya más allá de la simple discrepancia ideológica, legítima por descontado, para centrarse sobre los retos que los recientes des-cubrimientos en biología han puesto sobre la mesa, sin un a priori sobre que punto de vista saldrá reforzado de este necesario debate, y sin que esto sea óbice para que cada parte muestre con orgullo y decisión cuáles son sus puntos de partida y a dónde le llevan sus razonamientos. Bajo estas premisas se ha elaborado el libro en español, A la Búsqueda de un mecanismo evolutivo inteligente, donde el autor trata de poner su granito de arena a este necesario debate que apenas acaba de empezar. Se trata básicamente de una visión metafísica en la que enmarcar el hecho evolutivo y por tanto un trabajo de carácter especulativo, sin base probatoria alguna, que presenta una parte importante de la complejidad biológica como resultado de un diseño que se introduce secuencialmente en el tiempo del marco dimensional donde vivimos desde otro marco dimensional de un hipotético pluriuniverso. El azar, la necesidad y la inteligencia, elementos claves para configurar los distintos niveles de organización de la realidad existente THE DESIGN IN BIOLOGY Presently in almost all investigation areas of biology, the design as responsible factor for the emergence of the great biological forms in the course of time is systematically regarded  as being outdated, lacking virtual explanation and , in some cases, it is regarded as a  nostalgic element  and of camouflage  used by those  who not wishing to use directly the word “GOD”, take shelter behind a more aseptic concept with the intention to create the adequate atmosphere for the flourishing of a new religious revival. In short, a new way of obscuring  the light of science. This atmosphere, judged by the author is drowning the possibility of  a  cleared (serene)and impartial study,- possibly only an illusion, a wish -? of the concept of design as a possible firm element for the interpretation of the fact of evolution. Books like Nature´s Destiny by Michael Denton or Nature, Design & Science by Del Ratzsch or No Free Lunch by Dembski or Darwin´s Black Box by Behe, just to name some of them, merit a reply going beyond simple ideological discrepancy, though acceptable, to focalise the challenge presented by recent discoveries in biology without a a prior attitude about which viewpoints will come out reinforced  by this necessary  discussion and without this being an obstacle for the parties to show with proud ness and determination which are their starting points and where their reasoning leads to.  It is under theses premises that  the book in Spanish A la búsqueda de un mecanismo evolutivo inteligente (In search of an intelligent evolutionary mechanism) was written, in which  the author  tries to contribute to this necessary discussion which has just commenced. The author presents basically a metaphysical vision in which to frame the evolutionary fact, it means that  this is a speculative study, without approbatory base. It presents an important part of the biological complexity as a result of a design which is sequentially introduced in the  time of the dimensional frame  where we live from another dimensional frame of a hypothetical plural-universe. Je pense que ce fait est historique. Voici en anglais un résumé: On August 4th, 2004 an extensive review essay by Dr. Stephen C. Meyer, Director of Discovery Institute's Center for Science & Culture appeared in the Proceedings of the Biological Society of Washington (volume 117, no. 2, pp. 213-239). The Proceedings is a peer-reviewed biology journal published at the National Museum of Natural History at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington D.C. In the article, entitled "The Origin of Biological Information and the Higher Taxonomic Categories", Dr. Meyer argues that no current materialistic theory of evolution can account for the origin of the information necessary to build novel animal forms. He proposes intelligent design as an alternative explanation for the origin of biological information and the higher taxa.
